Ice Machines and Industrial Cooling Systems are facilities that operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in all kinds of climatic conditions, indoors and outdoors. Requires a great deal of precision to the maintenance of users during and after production. Each system has its own working principle automatically.

I will now share with you some terms that we use in Ice Machines and Cooling Systems with their descriptions below;

FLUID: Common name of liquids and gases,

LOW-PRESSURE PRESOSTAT: Safety element that stops the compressor from starting if the system is gas-free,

HIGH-PRESSURE PRESOSTAT: Safety element that stops the compressor from operating at high fluid pressure in the system,

LOW AND HIGH-PRESSURE MANOMETERS: Indicators in which fluid pressures are observed in the system,

NITROGEN: The gas-free of moisture used in cleaning the system and leak test,

CHECK VALVE: The valve that provides flow in the system in one direction,

FREEZING THERMOSTAT: Cooling element that protects the heating coils against freezing risk in heating-cooling-ventilation systems,

OIL PRESSURE PRESOSTAT: The safety element that controls the compressor oil and stops the system when necessary (when the system is left without oil),

DRAINAGE: The building element manufactured for the removal of liquids that may damage the structure by natural or artificial means through any installation,

INDUSTRIAL COOLING SYSTEM: Full air, full water, and air + water conditioning systems,

EVAPORATOR: The place where the fluid turns into a gas by pulling the evaporation latent heat of the liquid fluid at low pressure and temperature from the environment,

FILTER: Material or arrangement that filters and separates foreign substances in the fluid,

EXPANSION VALVE (EXPANSION VALVE): The element that evaporates the fluid in the system,

SURVEILLANCE GLASS: Glass in which fluid flow and humidity level are observed in the system,

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: All tools, tools, equipment, and devices that are worn, fitted or held by the employee, protecting the employee against one or more risks arising from the work carried out, affecting health and safety,

COMPRESSOR: The device that compresses gaseous substances by absorbing and increases their pressure,

CONDENSER FAN SPEED CONTROL AUTOMATIC: The element that adjusts the fan speed according to the pressure,

CONDENSER: The element that allows the fluid in the superheated fluid to heat up and condense and become liquid,

CONTROL PANEL: The unit where the system is electronically controlled,

LIQUID TANK: The tank where the fluid in the system is stored and sent properly to the system,

LIQUID HOLDER: The element that prevents liquid from coming in liquid form to the compressor and system,

SELENOID VALVE (ELECTRIC GAS VALVE): Valve that controls the gas flow electromagnetically,

TIGHTNESS TEST: Test to verify that the fluid remains in the pipe under operating conditions and will not leak,

SYSTEM: All of the elements and equipment and equipment that are mutually interconnected to form a whole or assembly,

CHARGE VALVE: Valve filled with fluid into the system,

TEST PROCESS: The resistance of the lines completed in terms of mechanical and sealing; measuring with specified methods,

INSULATION: On a substance or structure; process to prevent the effects of factors such as temperature, sound, electricity, wear, and humidity.
